Update to 1.01 - 1.11 and apply the Crack.
Cant imagine why there is no 1.0-Crack, maybe the Crackers work for suspicious Teams who release illegal copies which have the crack on-cd






btw ... where is "our" 1.38 crack for BOW?

Looks like there won't be a nocd-exe for BOW - we might have to wait a few weeks longer when another addon for Spellforce will be released - by then there will be a budget version of BOW available. Don't worry about the smackaroonies but I really wonder WHY there is no crack available for BOW - for almost all other games there's one in the net.

It is March 2005 and still no sign about the No-cd crack ! I wonder how many years I will have to wait ! Guess forever !!

Don't dispair, there is a crack for 'Shadow of the Phoenix' that will let you play 'BoW' with a 'SotP' backup disc instead of your original. And since you're a Spellforce fan you should have, or be getting, 'SotP'.
Just install 'SotP' over 'BoW' then get and use the crack.
It's a 5.78 Meg rar file and I've only seen it at eDonk so far.

EDIT: Your backup 'SotP cd1' will have to be made with 'Clonecd' (tested) or similar. A simple ISO won't work.
But the good news is the game will run from the mounted image. No need to actually burn a disc.

The crack is written for the originally installed version of 'Shadow of the Phoenix', isn't it? I tried to apply it to the game patched to 1.52a and it didn't work. Well, okay I'm using the German version of the game; perhaps the crack is incompatible. But I think that the patch is the problem.

April and still no crack. Crackers-Hackers beaten!!!!! Now we all know the new way the game market is heading. Put so many protections into games that will make them sluggish and annoying to start (let's not forget noisy for those of us who have spend good money into having a quiet system).

I have to admit, this protection for Spellforce is really tight, especially for BoW.
I even had to buy 2nd hand Spellforce : order of dawn, lucky it is cheap.
Howeve, BoW is tough !

Spellforce : Shadow of Phoenix, is a little bit funny.
I use to install the spanish OOD then SoP (english), it works, without cd.
then
I isntall the english OOD then BoW then SoP, then apply the crack, now it doesn't work. Anyone might have idea ?
It almost work actually, the black screen, then somehow it said, couldn't find original bla bla bla.

I wonder, if every corp make deal with sony to make everygame with its copy protection like Spellforce, it would be really annoying

Blah..... hate spellforce.

One more thing, I agree if need serial key to play multiplayer is just better than 10 protections for a game
