Ski Racing 2005 Fix Doesn't Work

I Downloaded Fix By Dds For Ski Racing 2005 To Be Able Working With A Backup Copy Of The Game.
I Substituted The Two Exe Files In The Game Dir And Copied The Ar.dll File In Windows Directory, Following The Instructions.
But If I Try To Run The Game, The Protection Is Still Active And The Cd Isn't Recognized.
Can Anyone Help Me Or Tell Me If This Fix Works ?
Perhaps The Error Is In Copying Ar.dll In An Other Directory ?

I have tried the crack and for me its works fine.Its starts without a problem

can you tell me under what Operative System have you used the crack ?
I've read that it works only WIN XP (see the Unlocker for NFO), I've WIN ME.

you´ve answered the question yourself
the crack has been done for winNT kernel operation systems only.

Sorry but I've tried all cracks I've been able to find , and I can't get this game to avoid the cd protection.What the hell i need?.I am working on win XP sp1.
Is there another crack i haven't found yet.

Obviously it works when you play from the original Disc? I dont have the game myself but from what I understand the crack is a 'Fixed exe' meaning you will still need to use a backup CD in your drive to be able to play! It is not a proper Nocd exe!

I've applied the fix and it works as "NO-CD", so I don't have to insert my CD when I play the game.

Which crack? I've 5 different cracks and as I said no one works.Which one please.

For me the crack on GCW works fine, but from what i've read here it works only on WINXP

I've got the same problem. The fixed EXE-file doesn't work!

I mount the image with Alcohol 120% and install the game -> doesn't work.
I install it from the DVD-RW-drive -> doesn't work.
I install it from the DVD-drive -> doesn't work.
I try the crack from GCW -> doesn't work.
I try the crack from the image-file -> doesn't work.
I deinstall the virtual CD/DVD-drive and try it again -> doesn't work.

Everytime the same error ... "Please insert the original CD".

I use Win XP prof. & SP2. Any ideas, guys?
