I really dont understand how you expected to get a patch which would install HL2 without inserting the DVD anyway? Where exactly did you think the install was going to come from if its on the DVD that you cant use??

what happened is i asked my mum wen she went shopping 2 buy it 4 me, she brought it on DVD-ROM without realising n then i dint get a chance 2 return it....

I just wanted to ask something abount conter strike source included on half life 2 I have listen this game the multiplayer portion of halflife2 but cat cs source be played offline too like hl2 or is it only multiplayer?

At the moment CounterStrike: Source is only MultiPlayer.
Valve is planning to make it possible to play it alone with a lot of bots, but this options isn't already available.

HL2 fix
I have the up and running but i have the node grapgh bug
and i cant save,if i do then all AI in the are disabled and i need to start the game all over again... i found alot of broken links regargding the fixs for this problom.. can someone give me a link that works? |

Extract to "...\root\hl2\models" and overwrite. Fixes failure on Black Mesa East door! KI , elevator and other fixes in this patch: Half-Life 2 Patch Scroll down to Half-Life 2 Fix!
