Sorry, I'll be brief this time.
I remember reading a post here a while ago saying that using a lens cleaner on a really dirty lens will cause the dust to be swept under the lens, causing worse damage. I've never cleaned the lens in the 2 years I bought it; would the same problem (dust swept under lens) occur if I used the cleaner now? FYI: I do wipe the surface around the PS2 before play, and cover it with a towel afterwards. There IS dust on the vents, though it should be relatively clean inside...but just in case... Is it okay, or are there any ways around it? Thanks

Your better off disassembling the console and removing the laser cover then get a can of keyboard cleaner which is compressed air, and blow out the entire console
