Prince of Persia WW NO -CD?

I installed the game that was given to me yesterday for a late Xmas present, upon installing, it won't stat up after the starting logo screen, it gives me an error message. I had the same problem with SoT, but I could fix it by takig the CD out and putting it back in and using the autorun feature.

This however doesn't work for PoP WW for me. SO I was directed to GCW for a patch, but was told oen of the patches messed with the opening cinematics. So, which one do I choose? I just want to play the game period. I odn't mind having th eCD in the drive at all, but I'd like to watch the cinematics since i have a nice comp to watch them with. So

So, here, do I just get the Prince of Persia 2 v1.0 [ENGLISH] Fixed EXE then? Since i don't care about the Cd being in the drive? Thanks for your help and time.

But i want to see the intro though, why should I need the second one?

Why wouldn't just getting the .EXe fix this

Most people dont want to see the intro's all the time and once you play this game you will see what a pain it can be! But for sure if you want to see the intro dont use the NoInto one just yet. But may i suggest you grab it anyway for later use.

i do believe that it really matters on how much u would enjoy the cinematic if u wanted to watch it again or not ... i mean - i watch the Diablo 2 cinematics everytime i beat an act ... or the opening cinematic for Sacred - everytime i play these games ... simply because it is not the same story without them ... its not the same - even tho i kno it ...

Well, I uninstalled and re-installed the game and the then disabled V-sync and the intro movie doesn't skip or stuter anymore, but when the game first loads up, the whole Prince of Persia thing still stutters with sound being choppy. Is there anyway to fix this? Does it happen to everyone? I have a pretty good system...

So, I shouldn't be having any problems. Any reason for this? I got to th esecond cinematic ingame, with the old man, and the sound stuttered there too, but the following cinematic with chaning time in the portal didn't stutter at all. Is this a problem that a lot of people have?
