DJ cannot read TOC, PMA or subcode

i always get this message for self boot games when i insert them into pc and therefore i cant even press ####t button on DJ. i can do boot disk using games no problem. any solutions? or does DJ just not like my external freecom rewriter?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, DJ sux!! In your case, it might not like that external writer of yours, so give this a try. Get the cdi2nero program on www.dccopyworld.com to convert the *.cdi to a nero image, then burn with nero at 6x. If that doesn't work, just bump the speed down a notch and it should (for a couple of games I had to burn at 4x, but most worked fine at 6).
