best bios ?
hi
im using an aladdin advance mod and im wondering which bios i should use with it ? which do u think is the best keeping in mind the memory on the aladdin advance chip thanks

x2_4981, has xbl protection nd can be edited by xbtool. IT only works on v1.0-1.5

So there really hasnt been anything better than 4981? I mean really its been quite some time already. Id like to see an upgrade.

well, actually there is an x2_4983, and maybe some other versions after that. Definately some 1.6 bios. However, x-ecuter encypts their bios now, so you can no longer edit boot color, boot file, etc.. with xbtool. For me, that is no good since I did a case mod, and green does not go well with it at all. Besides, I also change my boot sequence and the partition that the dash is booted from.

Yeah in actuallity Im runnin 4983 in my Halo SE Xbox. Im gonna do an update check. I kinda doubt that theres anything new though. Supposedly 4983 was intended to be the last one, other than the 1.6 bios though.

yea when i saw qualls post
i knew there were no better bios' so i didnt post anythin but yea 4981 is the best and yea can be edited by xbtool

~WoMeNlOvEr ... so far ive moddded xboxes with: 2 Matrixes 3 Xbits My xbox!: -250 gig -XBIT -4981.06 x2 -orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen -Component cable my problem...solved?!: -one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails..
