Crazy taxi 2 internet mode

Hi, i burned crazy taxi two, american version, but when i try to go the the internet feature, it just goes to the menu that comes up if you put no disc in the dreamcast, anyone know why? thanx

The internet option doesn't work on the us or jap version.
