Dummy files? SO WHAT??

Ok!

I've read enough past threads on Dummy files but still don't get when do you apply them or how do you know if you need to apply them or they are already applied...

Any brief tutorial on how to determine this?

Thanks!

Dummy files add a 'dummy file' (hence the name...) thus moving the data to the outside of the cd and making the game load faster. A guideline would be to dummy any game that is under 600 mb, though most games will run fine without a dummy anyway, even when smaller. And all the recent releases are pre-dummied anyway, so those don't need to be dummied, obviously.
