Command & Conquer DOS original no CD crack

Hi,

Right I can't find a no CD crack for this game - can anyone help me? I have the original DOS version, I can get it running under XP thanks to a guide I found but am lacking the CD so I need some help in this department I've searched a number of sites (including all the ones listed in the sticky thread in this forum) but to no avail.

no need for guide, theres 2 ways to run it: Theres a patch for original c&c for win xp wich runs without cd, and you could also use a program called DOSBOX wich emulates a dos enviroment, dunno if that lets u run without cd tho.

The XP fix isnt a nocd at all. I know how to play without cd. But its too late now, maybe i remember this post tomorrow

The only Version which dont needs the cd is the rip Command & Conquer Gold which is spreaded on some sites. The XP-Fix doesnt replace the executable only a dll file. The rip works like this:

start.bat:
"c&c95.exe" -cd[cdfolder]

cdfolder is a dir in the dir of c&c which contains all files which are on one of the cds so you could make a dir with the nod files and one with the gdi files.

gdi.bat:
"c&c95.exe" -cdgdi

nod.bat:
"c&c95.exe" -cdnod

lol i do have an original, he, maybe i should mention that the original was on floppies

Hello together,
I just told me a thumb, cause i have really not much idea about handling with "patches" especially the the "No-CD" patches.

I have a original C&C Game shared
-.- just jokeing. My Generals CD ist damaged, and doesn't play but it install its files normaly. So i though to get a No-CD patch, and i got it. But there was no Orders with to know how to use it.

I just put this downloaded file into the Generals directory with those other datas, there was a game.dat and executor.nfo with the generäle.exe data.

I i click to this probably new game starter it contents, that the launcher config file is missing, and i should start the game from its install directory, but there is no install directory, i made one and put this file in it, but it showed me the same message.
Can u guys please post me a link to faq, which describes in pieces what to do? or might u tell me? In this faq here i found nothin.
