Talking The Suffering - problems installing

Hi guys

I'm trying to install The Suffering on my laptop but the same error message appears every time . . .

file not found "E:\Common.cab"

This file isn't present on the CD . . . though there is a WinZip file called "Common". My hard-drive has all the necessary specs and that. Anyone encountered this problem & know how to fix, or should I take this game back to the shop?

Thanks,

Dave

well that would be it then wouldnt it? obviously you have file extensions hidden so you cant see if its .zip, .exe, .doc, .bat, .cab or whatever, but i would bet lots of money that its .cab

if its on the CD and the CD is in the drive when its asking for that file, is your CD drive called E? or something else? is the disk dirty or damaged? or is your cd drive in need of a clean?
