""Xena, just a quick question about .img files""
HI,
I have ripped Sydney 2000 and got all the files, the trouble i have is there's only a few small .AFS files to downsample and i can't get it to fit on a disc as a selfboot. One of the files is a 113mb .img file, i have burned this file to a CD-RW and found that it is a <4min blank audio track, i tried deleting this file and making the game a selfboot, but it gets to the end of the intro movie and stops. Any advice on what this file is for, or how i can get the game to work? Thanx |

113mb ".img" file is a 4min blank audio track???
U convert the img to wav or use winamp type program to ##### the file and said it is 4 sec audio??? ------------- If your Rip still doesn't work like "hanging after the licensed screen or restart" after you "dahack" the ".Bin" files or manually modify 2 "5EB0 0000" to "9600 0000" , You still have 2 more method to try... Method 1) by Mr.talon Try serach Hex "CDE4 436A" in Orginal Unmodify "bootbin" with a HexWorkshop, change "CDE4 436A" to "0900 0900" If still no luck try Method 2) Try serach Hex "1032 0D8B" in Orginal Unmodify "bootbin" with a HexWorkshop, change " 1032 0D8B" to "0800 0D8B " Notice: This 2 method only works on Katana GameTypes Notice: i don't hv Sydney 2000 orginal or backup . |
