Quake 3 ntsc help

I haven't seen a solution to the 50/60 hz or the rgb bug fix for this yet. I have searched the boards with no luck. If I have missed it or if anyone has anything that would help, please let me know.

After about 10 minutes, the screen shrinks a little and the colors change to a rainbow array.
