Question ut 2004, backup entire 6 disk game??

err, yes another one!
i decided to creat another theread of the same 1 due to no one being able to give a true answer.
6 disk game, ut 2004
5 install, 1 play disk
it seems that the whole game or just the play disk is backed by Sony's new Securom v?????
can someone put a real answer on what is going on with any facts about how to get past this, and make it so that the purchased game is stored in its's box and so forth!
thank you very much.

well you can buck it up and put the imagez in a dvd(if you have)i once had the game but lent it(i haven't get it back yet...)i think it has securom 5 or something like that.only in the playdisc if i can remember good.just copy all the cd's with alcohol and put the playdisc in,set the profile of alcohol to securom 4x/5x(just scan the exe with protectionid to be sure)and after you write it go to emulation tab to the left again on emulation and check RMPS.this should do the work.worked on vicecity

My DVD-Version has the folders CD1, CD2, ... CD6 on it.
So try to copy all files to harddisk, creating this structure, including a crack/patch.

blahh, tried about 5 ways and still coasters!
and my 5th game disk pulls read errors from the end of the cd in every drive i have in the house, but installs just fine go figure?
even if i copy all files to drive and burn them to disk, installing the game makes me revert to original disk, or iso imaged disk only!
pretty tight lock on the disks.
do we think if i can download an iso image of the last install disk a solution might happen?

Don't bother now.

Don't bother with making a copy-protected backup copy at this point since the lastest update to the game (and presumably all future updates) no longer uses the copy-protection. There were a significant number of problems with DVD drives and the copy-protection, so Atari got rid of it.

Another new update to UT2004 will be released shortly as it is in public beta test.

Welll i have beaten it for now, play with no cd play disk and all the goods.
the main trick i found was that files need to go into the system folder of the game!!!!!

find them here under ut 2004!!!!!
