Help with error message in BBrip...please help
I have my Dreamcast hooked up into my router/switch. I also have my desktop hooked into my router/switch. I am using straight through cables.
In order to get my PC to see the DC I had to do the following: -Load the IP Slave -Start BBRip on my PC -Enter IP 192.168.1.103 (which is an IP on my LAN...should be the DC's IP?) I entered this in BBrip -In Dos I typed arp -s 192.168.1.103 the DC's MAC here -Then I typed arp -a and I saw that this IP was assigned to my DC's MAC I then exited and restarted BBrip. My Pc was able to connect. Then I downloaded the track list. However when I go to Download I get an error code 04050100 to the right of the tracks. If I go to reboot bbrip it will not connect again because on the Dreamcasts screen it still lists tracks and does not look like it is ready to reconnect again. What am I doing wrong?? Please help...thanks! |

connect staright form dc to pc using a cat5 crossover. set your nic card ip to 198.162.0.1 and the dcs ip (in bbrip) to 198.162.0.2. in the options on bbrip, ##### add arp entry and enter the dc mac address (from dc-load ip). it will add the correct arp entry for you. you should atleast be able to connect now.
