CDR drive F***ed up?

Have burned about 10 games, and recently I started receiving an Internal controller error message when I use dj3. The game gets about halfway through burning and then displays that error message. I tried the jinxter driver and that didnt work either. I cant burn any games now. I tried burning regular files with nero and received similar problems. Any Ideas? Would appreciate any help/suggestions.

DJ3 settings: mode2, 2353, cdxa

thank you

The best thing to do is check on your manufacturers website for toolz for testing the integrity of the CD-R.

Another great thing to try is putting the CD-R into another PC if you have access to one.

Have you installed any software recently that may interfere in the system operations? Such as FireWall software or ANti-ViRuS software?

I just wanted to write an update to this (not that any of you care) but I hope it may be beneficial to other people. I had an old HP cdr drive lying around (HP 7200i). I took out the f***ed up drive and put in the hp 7200i. Configured it and started burning a game. The game worked on the first try. Perferct. For my money, HP makes some of the best products. I own three HP products (scanner, printer, cdr drive) and all of them never give me any problems and have lasted quite a few years. Thanks for the help people.
