No CD for Battleship 2 (Surface Thunder)??

There is a no CD for this game version 1.0.00 on GCW, but the "new in the box" game I just got yesterday has a version 1.0.02.0 executable. I tried the GCW no CD patch, but ofcourse it said 'wrong or missing version found'.

It would be nice to play the game on a LAN like it is intended, and the game was hard enough to find as an actual CD game as it was. It is mostly one of those 'download and buy if you like' kind of games now. This game is probably a sinch to crack so if no one has it is thee a way to do it myself? The game was made in 2000 I believe.

Thanks for any help.

Well, I ran the newest version of Protection ID and it said the exe file and the dll's had no protection on them or were not recognized. Anybody here have ideas?

Hi SubyRS,

Please, zip (!) all the executable and DLL files necessary to "launch" the game (i.e. so that the "Insert game CD" or whatever message is displayed but no actual game data files are present) and send them as an E-mail attachment to me. If it's bigger than 1 Megabytes, split it up and/or put it online and tell me the URL. See ya,

Joe
