Problem with Final Fantasy 9 copy

I borrowed a friend's copy of Final Fantasy 9. His copy worked OK when I ran it on my PlayStation and on ePSXe.

I made a copy from those CDs but when I ran it on my PlayStation, the movie that shows "Squaresoft" freezes when the logo zooms up, but the music still plays.

On ePSXe, the game goes as far as the swirling effect that starts the first battle than the emulator screen went black. Also, the log window showed :

Error reading CD: 19,45,8
Error reading CD: 19,44,67

I copied the CD using NTI CD-Maker 2000 Plus, Polaroid BurnMax 24X
