where can i get a new dvd-rom?
where can i get a new dvd drive for my xbox it keeps giving me read errors on ninja gaiden other games play fine and my xbox is unmodded
the game goes through the waring screen then it gives me the crap about something being wrong with the disc. it works sometimes EDIT: just used my lens cleaner still doin the same thing

~WoMeNlOvEr ... so far ive moddded xboxes with: 2 Matrixes 3 Xbits My xbox!: -250 gig -XBIT -4981.06 x2 -orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen -Component cable my problem...solved?!: -one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. btw http://secure.llamma.com/catalog/pro...products_id=43 can you use this in a pc to read xbox games and do a normal copy or will it not work in a pc after its been modded?

nah
only thing is modified so that it can work in the xbox but it cant read xbox discs (originals)

i thnik the modified thing is probably the eeprom
cuz it says u can use it in xbox actually the pc drive confuses me too i dont get what he did with this

The modded PC Samsungs reading DVDs at 16x is BS. Its got the XBox Samsung's firmware on it which only reads at 4x...
