what is the best version ps2 to get

I like to know what is the best version ps2 to get and what is the part number on it scph-????. Thank you all.

Well any PS2 V5 and on will be good, but of course the newer the better, only because the laser will more then likely have less wear and tear. My personal favorite is the V7's only because they are very easy to install chips in and have great lasers. If you were to go to the store and buy one most likely all you would find would be V9's and V10's though.
