Please help with DC Cable/Game copy attempts.
I have installed the PC/DC serial cable, and ran the serial slave CD in the DreamCast.
(When the Serial Slave loads, all I get is the SEGA logo, no Blue Bars?) Anyway, after the Serial Slave boots, and I change the CD for the game, I try to receive the file from the DC unit, and nothing happens. I am running Win98. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

When TeraTerm runs, I NEVER see any '>'.
The SREC seems to be sent to the DC unit, since I see a lot of stuff dumped to the screen. It appears to be an object module. I never see a blue bar, or a red bar, and I never get a message saying to change speeds to 115K and hit OK. After the SREC uploads, the cursor just sits there. How can I tell if I have a flaky cable? Or can it be some other system component? Shouldn't I at least see the '>' in TeraTerm? Thanks, Quote:

You have all the settings exactly like you see them in the pics right? make sure you set the settings, put the serial slave in, then make sure it has loaded all the way(wait about 25 seconds) and then sawp it. i can't really think of what your problem could be. you don't get a > if its at the wrong speed or at CR+LF or whatever. when you try to send the srec does it go like this? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>
