Help - DC games with 1 ISO file - Xena or DreamcastKev or anyone?

I have already successfully ripped and Tony Hawks 2 and make a self booting disk using the echoleon tutorial, copying over some of the largest movie files with smaller ones to make it fit on an 80minute cd. However, I am having problems with the second and third games I have tried to do.

First, I tried Aerowings 2 - Airstrike (PAL version). Successfully ripped the files from the DC which left me with 1 file track03.iso.gz. Uncompressed this using winrar, extracted the ISO using extract track03.iso (since there was no second iso file, didn't have aa sector to use with this. Thank followed the Echeleon system to make a self-boot disk (didn't have to do anything with the files since they were already small enough for the whole to fit on 1 CD). When completed, I out the CD in my DC, switched & switch on. It went through the DC and S**A screens, went black, went through some developers advertsiing screens, then came up with a black screen saying "FILE NOT FOUND - PLEASE CLEAN DISK AND TRY AGAIN". Then after afew seconds, went to the DC tools screen.

I then tried to do the PAL HOD2 (tired of not being able to use the gun on my US version). Again, there was just the one track - track03.iso.gz to rip, extracted as above, and again the game was small enough to fit on an 80 minute CDR without resizing etc. This time, when I booted, went through the first two screens, went white after S~*A screen and then nothing.

Can anyone tell me what is going wrong and what I ahve to do to fix the problem(s). Is it something i am doing wrong when extracting the files from the single ISO file ?

I assume that you just apply hack3.exe to the 1st_read.bin file ?

Does this have to be done in addition to all the stages of the echelon self-boot process, and does it matter at what stage it is done ?

Also, does it have to be applied to any other files, and will this be the same on both games as the symtoms are different (aerowings 2 goes through some of the intro movies before coming up with "file not found.."

apply hack3 on all bin files that contain CD001

I had that same exact problem with Marvel vs capcom but then i tried burning it again. you know when you burn the audio.raw?(i use cdrwin) add it and then do it about 10 more times

can't say itll work for you but it did for me
