Can I use 99 min cdr's with the dc

I tried to burn MSR with a 99 min cdr but the first time I only get the dc menu screen and the second time I see the video but circa after ten seconds I get the dc menu screen again. With downsampled files (on a 80 min cdr) I can see the video (the game don't work, but that's not my problem) could it be that the dc is not capable of reading 99 min cdrs

how much data do 99 min cds hold? im guessing its proportional to 74's so like 870mb? those might come in really handy if you can get em to work on the dc..
