Could you please let me know what brand of CDRW media (disc) you use on the modified DC
I tried Memorex brand and it didn't work out, my DC keep on spinning and won read it, if you succeed using it, please share you idea

Well I though I did, I turned the POT next to the lazer head about 1/4 clockwise, I noticed the head is spinning faster when I tried the CDrw. I could be wrong, please advise

i use verbatim cdrw's and did you do it just by luck or did you use a multimeter as you adjusted the pot?

ok i re adjusted the pot and measured the resistance seen by the multimeter make sure you are reading 533[ohms] across it,
