Angry Help: Backing up XMen

I used dvd decryptor to ripped xmen to my hdd. I used clone dvd to cmpress n burn the files with only the movie itself and the title selection and it won't fit to dvd-5. I'm looking for the same quality as the original.
Are there any better compression tools to fit it to dvd-5 at the original quality?
Oh, I used DVD XCopy XPress and it burnt to one dvd but it didn't say what the quality was.

I'm new at this.

yeah, I shoulda mentioned that I used dvd shrink too. Is there anyway of spanning it over 2 dvds? I don't know about dvdXcopy because it doesn't tell u anything about how it's burnt or compressed.

Sure you can split a dvd in 2 using DVD SHRINK. U can do it with all version but I will assume you are using the latest.

After it analyses the DVD, it defaults to Full backup. Select "re-author" instead. Then drag all items on right pane (menu, mainmovie extras, etc..) to left pane making sure you re-adjust the compression to NONE on EACH (it defaults to auto compression by default).

Once this is done, You need to split the main movie. Open the main movie group in the left pane then select the movie. The "start-end" button should light up (next to the erase button). Clic on it and decide what frames will remain on the 1st disk and which you will burn on the second disc.

Have fun
