Mod Chip ?
I opened up the xbox finally and saw there is a applex v,with a 4977 bios installed. I don't think this chip is flash upgradeable is it? Would it be wise to pull this out and get the Xecuter 2.3b lite?Because I want to flash through evox. Damn I hate the modder I went to!!!

Ya you can reflash the Apple thru EvoX. The X2.3 has a bigger flash memory chip though. You can hold two BIOSes vs one on the Apple.

Do I have to make a disk to flash or can I transfer the X2 4981 to the bios file in evox and hit the flash then pick the 4981 and hit the A button. I tried that way and it just sat there not doing anything.Thanks for the reply!
