DVD-RW Not Recognized

I've been trying for quite some time to compile a multi-game DVD for my XBox ... I've tried everything, and the latest is using UDF format. After I tried that (not surprisingly) the XBox wouldn't recognize the disc, so I decided to "erase" the disc for further writing. And now my DVD Burner doesn't read it either! Is it totally hosed? Or has someone figured out this complication?

It IS a rewritable disk, right? The disk should still work fine, i use rewritables to test mine all the time.

If the DVD burner doesnt read it, it no problem. It might be because u have made a x-box disc and then u cant read it in a computer. But u can still erase it and use it again, use full-erase just to be sure...

If u have erased it allready then u shouldnt be abel to read it since there is nothing to read on it... Just try to burn on it again.

Thanks guys!

That was it - I was able to "erase it" Full Erase feature ...

How many times can one use and re-use a DVD-RW?

Curious ... that's it.

lets just say that i had rewritable cd's for years and they have not yet died. Dvd's are much better.
