i havent personaly heard of the sniper mod.
i think the best mods for v9's are Smartchip 5x Mars 2 dms v9 maybe messiah 2 1.33b but has some kind of problems with v9 consoles

The magic V 50k for V9's and the Magic 5k6 for V10's are great cheap alternatives to the Messiah and DMS3 chips.

How about those special features of the DMS chip, like reading programs of the memcard?
Does anybody has some experiance with Sniper/Ripper chips? Cause in Germany they are mainly sold with premodded PS2 consoles.

yea ripper is a good mod has the same features as the dms3 but the ripper has less wite which means less interfearance
