The crack is huge...too much for the GCW to cope with.
So you can use this Torrent file.... http://www.torrentbits.org/download....RACKCD.torrent Download the BitTorrent client software in order to download the crack.

because the files included on the crack cd are not present on any of the cdroms, they're encrypted and scattered during the install.. so a simple patch thing cant be done

So the encrypted files are scattered throughout the installed game! Most other protections are cracked by altering the game.exe or another file.
It would be time consuming, but why couldn't someone check throughout the game directory and crack the files involved? It's not likely to be done because very few sane people are willing to spend a huge chunk of their lives for this one purpose. By the way, assuming that Alcohol 120 can allow you to play DTR with a copy, why couldn't you have a nocd crack based on the same technology?
