Sharne warne cricket 99 No c.d

I've just went out and bought this great old game,Sharne warne cricket 99 for p.c I was wondering if there's A no c.d crack because when I fully install it,it still reqires the c.d left in the drive and as A result the game runs very slow off the c.d and I'm sure it would run much better and smoother off the Hard drive.
