Question Any point using CloneCd with Pioneer106

I searched under subchannels but didnt see anything about the pioneer 106 dvd writer.

I use recordnow max for ps2 dvd backups and was probably going to use it for audio cds also.

Can the 106 actually read subchannels?? If not there would be no point in using a program such as clonecd would there?

I read somewhere that any extra material on an audio cd needs subchannel reading so would this mean if i used recordnow max that it would simply just copy the audio tracks??

In other cases of audio cd is it just protected ones that would need clonecd and subchannels to be used???

Just wondered to be 100 percent clear.

I would assume that the 106 can read sub-channels....

The A05/105 can... So I dont think they would remove it from the newer version of the drive...

And I use Clone CD with my A05 all the time... Works like a charm...
