DMS3 and Action Replay MAX
I have bought Action Replay MAX but it doesn't work if my mod-chip (DMS3) isn't in stealth mode so I can't use it with my imported or back-up games...
Does anyone have the same problem? Any suggestion? Thnx in advance!

Sorry, I forgot to say that Action Replay MAX starts and let me to use the codes, but when I try to start the game it freezes with a black screen telling "Loading game...". That's all. THNX again

Try disabling for booting your AR then put in your backup when prompted.

I have tried to use the stealth mode and start a backup and it didn't work (Message: AR2 can't read the disk). I have tried to start the game quickly, just when I press eject to load the tray, one second after, one second before..., but it didn't work too (Freezes on "Loading game..."). Could I have a bad Action Replay MAX copy? Yours works? I need to know for return it quickly (i bought it online, so I don't want to return it if not necessary... It's expensive ). Thnx again.

Well, at last I know that my AR MAX is a working copy... Same problem with other PS2 V7 users with DMS3 modchip. http://fileforums.com/newreply.php?s...hreadid=55472#
does anyone know if I can use a sooner version of AR2 with the AR MAX dongle? Thnx.

i belive u can use old dongles on new ar's but i dont know about vise verisa u would lose out on the online update which is relly crap cause there way to slow about updateing the codes its faster to do ur self. BTW if ur on 56k and still want to use the code up date and u have no BB i can get u around this if u have xp that is

v1.8 firware for DMS3 mod-chip has been released!
It works perfectly with Action Replay MAX, but disabled macrovision patch :-( (Due some copyright problems?) It works fine for me! Thnx to all the people that reply to this thread!!!
