Problems

I currently have a plextor 12/10/32A, I was trying to back up a self bootable DC game with Nero and DiscJuggler V3.00.762.
I got my first problem with DJ as when it started going through the process it restarted my pc and second shot it turned it off. Nero just came up with could not read certain sectors, and when I checked the stuffed CD all that was on it was wav files.
If anyone could tell me why this is happening it and if anyone could guide me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
