Self boot games, how to copy!
Yo I have no problem creating games that require a self boot disk. But the question I have is- "how do you copy a self boot DC game?"
the game is already made on a 80 min cd, but it seems to be double layered with the self boot already on disk. HOw do you copy this? what programs is required etc... |

hey there:
Check it out, I help you and you help me, OK? Here goes. I used this method to successfully burn Guilty Gear X under the criteria you mentioned in your plea: Discjuggler version 3.00.750-DTU Under the "advanced tag": Mode: Mode1 Offset: 0 Block: 2336 TOC: CD-ROM In the "Action" box: select "Test and If OK, Write then Verify In the "Method": select 2X or slower SELECT NOTHING IN THE "MISC" BOX!!! There, now you should be able to burn away! Now if you could possible help me in using either Nero, Adaptek Easy CD Creator, or DiscJuggler to burn a copy of any original Dreamcast game, I would GREATLY appreciate it. I've already wasted (laugh if you must) at least 20 CD-Rs. Yes, I know that you can't copy directly from a DC game to a CD-R, I've been trying to burn an image from the original game, then burn to CD-R from there. If you can help me please email me at brandon_mcgruder**********com ASAP! thanx and you're welcome dude. |
