Using the DexDrive

A friend told me that years ago he got a program that lets him read PS2 memcards on his PS1 Dexdrive

Does anyone have any info on this program?

Personally, I would find it much more useful then the sharkport I have because:

1. It would be much faster, since I dont have to connect the PS2/PC together, load the program on both, then transfer through a SLOW USB1 interface. I can jsut plug the card into a slot and go.

2. The Gameshark software has a NASTY habit of replacing the game's nice-looking 3-D icon with their own stupid logo on a cube when uploaded back into the memorycard.

And if anyone here has used it......... how reliable is it? Is it likely to corrupt data or crash? Or does it work perfectly?
