ntsc &pal

Hi I was wondering if you could play a ntsc game on a pal monitor or vice versa? Are the computer monitors like tv's and you have to change the graphics somehow? It might seem a silly question but I would like to know so anyone who can help me thankyou.

I could be way off here. But I had a need to only take a computer in a small RV and didnt want to waste space on an additional TV.

One possibility was to put a TV turner in the CPU box.

The other was to buy a standalone wall AC unit that would play TV on the monitor. Never got pass the research stage. I cant remember what they called the TV to PC monitor converter thingie. Wasnt that hard to find tho.
