Media and speed

Hi guys,. I just bought my 106 for burning ps2 games.

Just wanted to know which is the BEST media for doing this, and the best software.

I heard ritek is the best, but i am in australia and I don't know where to find them. (Sydney)

Thanx guys, you are the best!

Best Media

The best media would have to be Ritek and Verbatim. Neither of those have ever given me a problem when backing up a game. Alcohol 120% is the best known program for backing up Playstation 1 and 2 games. But Record Now, and Nero work great too.

Sometimes Pioneers perform better as master. Sometimes they don't work at all unless you set it as master.

I use a very simple formula for figuring out drive placement -

Most-Expensive-Device=Master

I hope this has been helpful for all.

And VERBATIM? That's a commercial brand I've seen. I'll try those - these GQ's were killing me even though they do boot up, the consistency is - ugh.
