Heres How to Fix Vanishing Point without anything special

Okay... I have one of the US dreamcasts that doesn't work with Vanishing Point and I fould out how to run it... while booting on the *second* controller hold down B X and Start until you pass the "accessing data windows or whatever the window that you freeze on...

Tried that on my machine but it didn't work. Did you hold down the buttons from the time you turned it on until the accessing data screen? Did you skip the intro? How long did you have to wait?
