MATRIX MXL chip. Is it any good?

I've been seeing people that say that this chip is as good as messiah 2 pro, but cheaper. Has anyone tested this modchip?

I had never heard of this chip until your post. here is the official website for the chip.
it only works pal systems
The site mentions you only need to install 18 wires + 2 to disable macrovision, disabling macrovision is good, reducing wires is also good if you don’t loose reliability.
they don't mention you can boot from browser, so it must need a tab on the reset button to boot games like the magic3 so that's not very reliable.
they also say the chip can direct boot "MAX PAYNE PROTECTED GAMES", any direct boot chip can direct boot v7 protected games, the problem is you can't play them, I doubt that you can play v7 protected games with this chip since they say the chip turns off right after boot to prevent over heating, this is exactly what the magic3.1 does (turns off after booting) and this is also why v7 protected games don't work with magic 3.1.

If you want a good chip (that has been tested to be good) get yourself an apple pro/messiah2 or if you enjoy macrovison off and a few more features go with the DMS3.

I have never tested or used this chip (MATRIX MXL). All I’m doing is expressing my opinions and coming up with an educated guess from the information that is provided on the website, so don’t be mad if I was wrong about something.

Can you give me examples of V7 protected games? I have a V7 console and I'm a bit worried about this.
