Xecutor 2.2 lite question

I just got an xecutor lite 2.2 and when I installed it (version 1.3 xbox, with the pins), my xbox works fine when the chip is turned off, but with the chip on, it flickers on and off twice and then the eject button starts to blink red and green. Is this normal? I'm trying to flash it, since I think it only has the cromwell bios, but I'm getting nothing, so I'm beginning to think that there's no bios on it at all. Is this true? I've tried it on banks 1 and 2 of the xecutor. Any help is appreciated.

sounds like a bad bios to me

Please help. Okay, I found out that I out the d0 wire wrong and finally got it to go into the cromwell bios, and tried to flash, but the cd-rw I was using didn't work, so it halted. After I powered down to try again, the screen just remains black. I rechecked the connections and tried both mem banks. Any suggestion on what is wrong?

Finally got it to work and finally understood every word that is said in the stickies about evox without getting a headache. Thanks for the help.
