RincewindTheWiz is on a distinguished road
There's a trick that might help you do it in record time. Do it as follows. Install Daemon Tools then start the game with the original cd and no crack. You have to succesfully start the game this way, otherwise it won't work. Then DO NOT open the cddrive, instead start Clonecd/Blindwrite or Alcohol120% and start making an image (don't forget to pick the appropriate safedisc 2 profile). Instead of really reading all the safedisc2 related errors and progressing very slowly, the reading program (Clonecd/Alcohol120% etc) will be reading data provided by Daemon Tool's emulation. The end result will be a good image, made in normal time. If all this is too much, just make a copy/image of the disc. The read errors will eventually stop, and will end after one hour or more.
