Max Payne
recently my Max Payne game every time I run it hangs in the loading screen. I have to hit my standby button on my keyboard to get rid of the screen. After I log back on the game is then playable. I have the no-cd crack and the game has not had any problems until now. I don't want to re-install and lose my saved games. Any ideas

Sounds like a video codec problem. Just uninstall and reinstall, you won't lose your savegames. If you want to backup your savegames, you will find them in your "My Documents" folder.

i have same problem____i read somewhere on the net that the game is unstable with windows xp-----i downloaded a patch for the game and it runs fine now,,,just sux having to install patch
