I don't know shit about copying games, can someone help.

Someone please help me out. I just heard about copying dc games and i have some questions. I was reading some messages and i came across self bottable games. What does that mean? I know it means that u don't have to put the utopia or bootable cd. But does it mean that u just download it and burn it on a cd and play it on your dc?
I need some answers.

i think the word self-boot denotes the ability to play a cdr without the use of a boot disc.
