Thanks to all
I want to thank everyone who tried to help. It turns out there was a simple problem....I'm sorry to say it was too simple.
I got a different copy and it worked fine. Apparently there was some unseen damage to the DVD.

Like I said Unseen damage....sorry I guess I should have said not visible damage!!!
The DVD looked fine but it wasn't!
