fastest way from DV to DVD? - ULEAD?
I'm bringing video/audio in DV format in via firewire.
I'm presently using ULead Video Studio 7 to capture and then transform DV to DVD format and burn. Now here is the question. Is there any faster way to do this? I'm running a P4 2.7Gig machine, with one of the fastest drives u can buy, but it still takes 3+ hours for Ulead to transform 2 hour clip. I did a 2 hour video clip project last night and after 3 hours I went to bed. It was still in the converting video stage. I'm not sure how long it took, but it was done in the morning. Is this a normal amount of time to transform DV to DVD? This is killing me. There has to be a better way. |

Yeah.... That does sound about right....
Try re-encoding a PAL SVCD movie to NTSC DVD...... The outcome is excellent..... BUT IT TAKES FOREVER......
