Help Really Needed!!

Well whenever I post a question in this forum I always gets answer and I really appreciate those who answer them but always some things remain and I have managed to collect them all in this post and the reason why I ask these question even though they are a bit stupid is that I can't the bear the fact ruining my x-box I simply can't and I don't want to risk it too. I would really appreciate if answer at least one as ur help is greatly needed and appreciated. Also could u plz put the no. for the question like if u r going to answer question 1 then put one and answer it.


1)Do I need to flash my mod chip if it doesn't use a HD swap trick. If not is it done by not including the bios folder in my evox iso or is it something else I have to do

2)If I install evox in a wrong way and somehow damage my x-box can I ftp in remove the evox files of my Hdd and everything goes back to normal. Is anything else I have to do? Is it possible to fix the x-box in the first place? If yes then is what I stated above is correct if not how?

3)Can I install an extra hdd without having evox?

4)I downloaded an evox file but when I opened it there was no skin folder instead many skin.ini files do I have to put these in one folder and use it as the skins folder if not what am I supposed to do.

5)Can I edit or modify the evox.ini file after installing it on my Hdd? If yes how?


6)What are the attractive features of evox?

7)What features will I be unable to use by using evox from a disc only?

2. first thing you should do as soon as you establish a ftp connection to you'r xbox is CREATE A BACKUP OF C DRIVE store this backup some where safe that way if you connect to xbox live or screw up the dashboard some way you can reconnect and transfere the backup back to the xbox to fix it.

always keep a evox boot cd so if you do manage to do some thing wrong to the dashboard you can use this cd to boot the xbox to evox. you can then establish you'r ftp link and repair the damage.

yes you can go wrong with the evox dashboard but it is very easy to repair once you do repair it every thing will be back to normal.
