Unhappy evox more help needed

well thankz a lot to all those who helped here answer these questions but 2 things always and STILL remain they are:-

1) how do i flash my mod-chip so that when i install the evox on my hdd so that we i switch on the xbox i get the evox dashboard

2)can i go to the original xbox dashboard after installing the evox on my hdd.

the reason why i ask these questions is because i don't want to do any modifications b4 knowing what will happen so i can decide whether to do it or not.

THANKZ in advance

1. You need the hacked bios (X2 bios or newer evoX bios should work fine). Flashing it depends on your chip. Which one do you have, I probably missed it in your passed posts?

2. Yes you can.

Only some modchips can be reflashed. If you don't know what chip you have, then don't try it.

Hacked bios... They are just the original xbox bios hacked to boot unsigned code (non-official programs) and hacked to look for "evoxdash.xbe"/"neXdash.xbe" before "xboxdash.xbe".

read EVOX FOR DUMMIES if you already have you'r mod chip installed so you can boot copied games you dont need to upgrade the bios / unless you want or need the newest bios to get past the media check or you'r mod chip came unflashed.

second READ EVOX FOR DUMMIES this tells you how to setup the xboxdash as you'r second dash for evox.

GET IT READ EVOX FOR DUMMIES !!!!!!!!!

Well Dude - I think it was an ancient Chinese philosopher that said " You can lead a noob to FAQs but you can't make them read"

well i usually bag you for bashing noobs but i'm starting to loose my temper. if people just read the stickys they would solve about 90 percent of there problems.

i am just sick of seeing and answering the same questions every couple of days. i know every one starts as a noob but how hard is it to spend 5 miniutes to read the forum first to see if their querie has already been answered ?

don't get me wrong i'm not trying to be nasty to you and i to have posted my fair share of questions but like i said virtually all the questions you and other noobs ask on a regular basis have already been asked and answered several times.

i personally spent my first week on this forum just reading old posts and this sorted most of my problems for me.

we are very happy and willing to help and answer questions for any one who needs help but most of the answers are already out there.

it is just so anoying to see the same questions every day this realy cloggs the forum up neadlessley.
