Question Problems using DVDX copy Xpress

I have a Pioneer 105 DVD-R and DVDX Copy Xpress 2.01. I am trying to make a back up of We were Soldiers, but everytime I run Xpress I get the following errors:

Cannot write Archive.text
Error selecting movie-titleset!
Unable to open file D:\DVD rips\DVDexpress\video_ts\vts_01_0.IF0

My Dvd is drive is drive H and my temp folder is on drive D:

What am I doing wrong?

Try playing a little bit of the movie on your computer. Then try Xpress again.

That is a known fix. Try playing a little more of it and then skip through the chapters. Close it then open Xpress and try again.

Bighap, I have tried all those, and its still not working. I have tried a number of films and its still no go. Out of interest what software are you using to play back DVD's on your PC?

Hi All.

I have a pioneer 105 and i did have probems with it 2. I did find out on this forums i think in the PS2 room that i should set it up as a master and not a slave so i did and from that time i havent hade any problems.

So just take it and set it up as a master and put ur DVD rom as the slave, should work fine.

Thnaks everyone for the replies. DarkSilver, Its already set up as master. I think I will stick to DVD shrink, DVDX Copy Xpress is the only burning prog that does'nt seem to work on mine and I dont fancy buying a reader just to use it.
