In my v7 with Messiah 2 music CD-RW are not to much of a problem. Games on CD-RW have a limited success rate but do work. However I never play games on CD-RW because the laser sounds as though it is trying to self destruct when reading, which it probably would if done enough.

Mine only work if I burn the Dvd-rw the first time, if I erase it then reburn, the ps2 won't read.

Cd-rw doesn't work on my PS2

Does it matter what brand of Cd-rw you use???

I use Emtec Cd-rw. Has anyone got Emtec Cd-rw to read on their PS2???

I would presume you have a better chance at getting a Verbatim CDRW going then a unbranded CDRW.

I have some crap branded 'Elite Data' CDRW they don't even work on my ps2 or the Reality Media Player.

Tomorrow I am going to buy a 5 pack of Verbatim CDRW.

Ill report back to this post to see if they run good. Most of Verbatims Media Products are pretty good.
