modchip installer???
any modchip installers in ny/nj/ct area?
just bought a magic 3.1 chip... don't want to get ripped off. a local store who installed my sbox wants $175 is that a good deal???

Hell no! That is a terrible deal. Headly will do an install for over $100 cheaper than that. $80 is the most you should pay anybody for an install.

I really don't want to ship but it seems i have not choice everyone around here is asking crazy prices... thanks a lot in advance

Sadly, I paid 140 for the installation of my chip, but now I know how to solder so I bought a new ps2 and a MESSIAH 2, ALL HAIL TO IT'S GREATNESS!!

Bill at www.freedomlives.com is the best.He's in illinois and i just got my second ps2 back from him today.......it took 5 days and cost 90 bucks including shipping both ways. Cant go wrong with him

Would recommend Headly for NY, NJ area mod install. Just had a Messiah 2 installed by him and had zero problems as well as super fast turnaround.
